Trump warns GOP it needs to “toughen up” against leftist “culture war”
During an interview with Real Clear Politics published on Wednesday, President Donald Trump warned his fellow Republicans that they need to “toughen up” against left-wing causes.
“We are in a culture war,” President Trump said.
“If the Republicans don’t toughen up and get smart and get strong and protect our heritage and protect our country,” Trump warned, “I think they’re going to have a very tough election.”
“This was going to be a blowout, and then China hit us with the ‘China virus,’ and all of a sudden, it discombobulated this country and the entire world,” Trump continued. “Now, it’s a much closer situation.”
“We were sailing to an easy victory,” Trump added. “Now, I have to fight for the victory, but I’ve been fighting all my life. That’s what I do. I fight for victory.”
Rep. Omar calls for “dismantling the whole system” of US oppression
As if proving the point that President Donald Trump is currently warning Republicans about the leftist goals and culture war being enacted by Democrats, on Tuesday, during a press conference, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) called for dismantling the United States’ “whole system of oppression” which includes its economy, justice, and political system, Real Clear Politics reported.
“As long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out we will perpetuate this inequality,” Omar said. “We cannot stop at the criminal justice system, we must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it.”
After the speech, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) urged Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to resign, Daily Wire reported.
Sen. Blackburn tweeted: “Ilhan Omar took an oath to defend and protect the Constitution, not shred it. Omar and her Marxist comrades are a threat to our Democracy. Omar should resign.”
Omar’s campaign funnels $878,000 to husband’s firm
There’s a bit of irony as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) advocates for dismantling US economic systems that “prioritize profit.” A report released on Tuesday night revealed that the campaign of Rep. Omar has funneled $878,000 to husband’s firm, including $189,000 in March, Daily Wire and the NY Post reported.
Kanye West says he is serious about 2020 presidential run and is “taking the Red Hat off”
In an interview with Forbes on Tuesday, Kanye West said he is “taking the Red Hat off” and is supporting himself for president in 2020.
“It looks like one big mess to me,” West told Forbes, “I don’t like that I caught wind that he hid in the bunker.”
“One of the main reasons I wore the red hat as a protest to the segregation of votes in the Black community,” West continued. “Also, other than the fact that I like Trump hotels and the saxophones in the lobby.”
Forbes asked West if his 2020 presidential bid was a publicity stunt, CNN reported.
“I’m not denying it, I just told you,” West replied. “To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.”
“I’m not saying Trump’s in my way, he may be a part of my way,” West continued. “And Joe Biden? Like, come on man, please.”
“You know? Obama’s special,” West added. “Trump’s special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special.”
