Trump offers to lead peace talks in wartorn Ukraine

On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump offered to “head up [a] group” of peace negotiators between Russia and Ukraine while warning the US must act prudently following the suspected sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, the Daily Wire reported.

“U.S. ‘Leadership’ should remain ‘cool, calm, and dry’ on the SABOTAGE of the Nord Stream Pipelines,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social. “This is a big event that should not entail a big solution, at least not yet.”

“The Russia/Ukraine catastrophe should NEVER have happened, and would definitely not have happened if I were President,” Trump added in another post. “Do not make matters worse with the pipeline blowup. Be strategic, be smart (brilliant!), get a negotiated deal done NOW. Both sides need and want it. The entire World is at stake. I will head up group???”

Democrat pundits, such as those on MSNBC, slammed the idea, proposing that Trump’s efforts would be aimed at making “Vladimir Putin happy.”

“Jackie, are you here?” Biden calls out for dead Rep.

During opening remarks at a White House conference on hunger, nutrition, and health on Wednesday, President Joe Biden called out for the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IA), who died in a car crash in August.

Walorski was an advocate for reducing hunger in America and one of four cosponsors on a bill to fund the conference, NPR reported.

“Jackie, are you here?” Biden said, looking out into the audience. “Where’s Jackie?”

White House denies gaffe

The briefing room devolved into shouts as White House press secretary Jean-Pierre repeatedly suggested Biden did not forget Walorski was dead, the Daily Mail reported.

Jean-Pierre told reporters Walorski had been top of mind. “He was thinking about her,” Jean-Pierre claimed.

In August, Biden and First Lady Jill issued a statement extending their condolences following Walorski’s passing.

Harris praises alliance with “Republic of North Korea” at DMZ

During a visit on Thursday to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating the Korean Peninsula, Vice President Kamala Harris made a major gaffe by giving a shout-out to the country that poses a nuclear threat to America.

“The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea,” Harris told reporters at the DMZ, the Washington Times reported. Harris misstated South Korea’s official name, which is the Republic of Korea.
