RNC recruits 45K poll watchers for battleground states during midterms

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has recruited over 45,000 poll watchers and workers across the country, Newsweek reported. In the run-up to the November midterms, Republicans are keen to keep a close eye on battleground states in particular.

“The RNC has built an unprecedented election integrity ground game to ensure that November’s midterm elections are free, fair, and transparent,” Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Breitbart. “Polling shows that voters want common-sense election integrity safeguards such as bipartisan poll observation.”

Poll: Most Americans think Biden admin is divisive and misuses power

By a 2-to-1 margin, most Americans think President Biden misuses the power of his office, delivers divisive rhetoric, and threatens free speech, according to a poll taken in September by I&I/TIPP.

The results come in the wake of Biden’s recent comments that “MAGA Republicans” espouse “semi-fascism,” as well as declaring that the former president’s followers represent “an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

During his campaign and in his inauguration speech in 2021, Biden vowed to “unify” the country.

Surprisingly, the poll results showed that 73% of Democrats believed Biden’s MAGA comments increased division, more than did Republicans (50%).

With the midterm elections roughly two months away, the most recent Morning Consult Survey found that Democratic candidates hold a 4-point lead over Republicans in a generic congressional ballot.

Democrats leave Republicans 48-44 percent, The Hill reported, roughly the same edge as was shown in similar surveys in July and August. Nonetheless, Republicans are still expected to win the House.
