A third batch of missed votes has been found in Georgia that favored President Trump, while Pelosi likely to remain in power with no challengers for Speaker of the House, Candace Owens sues Facebook and more politics.
Third batch of uncounted votes favoring Trump found in Georgia
Following yet a second memory card with thousands of votes not uploaded into the system, the majority of which were for President Donald Trump, now a third batch of uncounted votes have also been found in Walton County, according to the Walton Tribune.
Yesterday, the Daily Wire reported that a second memory card was found with uncounted votes were found in Fayette County, that had not been uploaded, and that also favored Trump.
Fox reported that a Georgia audit found at least 3,039 more uncounted votes in two counties in Georgia yesterday.
Prior to these findings, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) said on Tuesday that the audit of the state’s voting machines has been completed and has found no signs of foul play, The Hill reported.
Even if Trump were to end up winning Georgia, it would still bring his total to only 248 electoral votes and Biden would still remain at 290, Fox reported.
Pelosi likely to remain in control as Speaker of the House, as she and other top Democrat leaders go unchallenged
Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is poised to hold onto her leadership as Speaker of the House, as she is running unopposed.
Elections will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, and CNN reports that the same predominant leadership of the House that led the 116th Congress is likely to also lead the 117th.
Other House leaders who are also likely to maintain their positions of power as they are not facing any challengers are: House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SE), and Chairman of the Democratic Caucus Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).
Candace Owens sues Facebook fact-checkers for defamation in battle to stop censorship of conservatives
Candace Owens, the founder of BLEXIT, is proving to be one of the most persistent voices in the battle against conservatives. Two weeks ago, Owens announced that she has connected with the country’s biggest law firms in bringing a defamation suit against Facebook third-party fact-checkers, the Daily Wire reported.
“It is time to fact-check the fact-checkers,” Owens said in a video posted to Twitter. “I’m going to put these suckers through discovery and figure out what the relationship is that they have with Facebook.”
“For the first time, I think all of America is realizing how censored we are,” Owens said in the video.
Owens cited an example of the censorship she received, the same one of her “opinions” concerning coronavirus, which was initially shared by a doctor, was “fact-checked” and flagged by the platform’s third party arbiters.
“Our freedoms are being stripped away,” Owens wrote on a website she established to raise legal funds for the battle against Facebook. “The overlords of Big Tech are determining what Americans can and cannot say, share, like, and post. Support our legal efforts today as we fight back against Facebook’s fact-checkers, confronting those who are suppressing free speech, thought, and expression across our great country.”
“The fact-checkers apply ratings to content that range from ‘false,’ ‘altered’ and ‘missing context,’” Fox explained. “When such ratings are applied, Facebook may either reduce its distribution or add labels to notify users about additional reporting elsewhere.”
