Fox is pro-conservative, but last week Chris Wallace unloaded a barrage of hard-hitting questions at President Trump, which may have led the Biden campaign to decline a similar interview, but the host promises to continue to ask every week; plus, more of today’s top stories in conservative politics.
Biden says “not available” to potential hard-hitting Fox interview
Last week, Fox host Chris Wallace delivered a hard-hitting interview with President Donald Trump, not holding back on asking a barrage of tough questions. The host had hoped to hold a similar interview with presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. However, when asked, the Biden campaign told the show that the vice president was “not available,” Fox reported.
The refusal made Wallace wonder whether Biden was capable of handling the level of questioning he delivered to President Trump.
“In our interview last week with President Trump, he questioned whether his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, could handle a similar encounter,” Wallace said. “This week, we asked the Biden campaign for an interview and they said the former vice president was not available.”
Determined to get an answer, Wallace added: “We’ll keep asking every week.”
President Trump has accused Biden of “hiding” in his home in Delaware. Many speculate that Biden is abstaining from rallies and press conferences to limit gaffes and awkward moments that may make his alleged cognitive decline more apparent.
Despite Biden’s involvement in public speaking, it has done little harm to his candidacy, as he leads President Trump in a number of the latest polls both nationally and in key battleground states.
Trump issues executive orders that will slash prescription drug prices, including insulin and EpiPen
President Trump signed for executive orders that will significantly lower the price of prescription drugs for Americans, including insulin and epinephrine.
Trump issued the directives to the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), saying they will end “a shadowy system of kickbacks by middlemen that lurks behind the high out-of-pocket costs many Americans face at the pharmacy counter.”
The HHS announced the executive orders will provide Americans with more options on purchasing drugs.
“The first order will require federal community health centers to pass the giant discounts they received from drug companies on insulin and EpiPens directly to their patients,” President Trump stated.
“Under this order, the price of insulin for affected patients will come down to just pennies a day, pennies a day from numbers that you weren’t even able to think about. It’s a massive cost savings.”

Mike Ditka: ‘If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country’
Legendary Chicago Bears coach and NFL Hall of Famer spoke out against players kneeling for the national anthem.
“If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the he– out of the country,” Ditka said during a TMZ Sports interview. “That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned, so I’m only going to say what I feel.”
“You don’t protest against the flag and you don’t protest against this country who’s given you the opportunities to make a living playing a sport that you never thought would happen,” Ditka added. “So, I don’t want to hear all the crap.”
